The Official Site of the DXMP Tournament first annual tournament.
All participants are welcome.
DXMP will be hosting a Tournament. The prize? $100 via paypal to the winning team.
The Tournament Rules:
1. Each team must consist of 4 players
2. There are three gametypes: 0-aug, augs, and CTF Altfire
3. The games will be in round robin form:
First round:
Team 1 vs. 3 and 2 vs. 4: 0 augs [RTKM] 31 Kill Limit
- Second round:
- winners play losers: Augs, full skills [EDH] 31 Kill Limit
- Third round:
- the remaining game of the round-robin: CTF Altfire [FGS] Server 31 Kill Limit
If you have any suggestions, please submit them and post them online.

lol. Hey, TBD, and Stex were only missing one player, Fullmoon.
Team MAV, had half their team.
So I had to make do with whoever wanted to play. You weren't even there random! :(

Thank you all for participating.There was definitely room for improvement which this thread can be about.

Tournament Minutes:
1. Team [MAV] Dresden, Phantom, Duke, Longcat
2. Team [1] Sike (?), Undead(random), Jett, Pein
3. Team [PMS] Kilian, Omnitron, Hasharin, Soviet
4. Team [3] Stex, Hey, TBD, Fullmoon
Extra Available Participants Order:
1. Majin
2. Diego
3. Dresden
4. Rabbit
First round:
-Team 1(mav) vs. 3(pms) and 2 vs. 4: In Official 0-Augs Server | 31 Kill Limit
- The other two teams will wait in the Tournament Green Room Server (Estimated time=10 mins)
Second round:
- Winners play losers: Augs, full skills BTDM in [EDH] Classic Aug Server | Kill Limit or Timed, whatever Hasharin has set (Estimated time=8 mins)
Third round:
(Two teams remain) This is the remaining game of the round-robin: [FGS] Server Surprise Gameplay.
The winning clan of the third round, wins the prize.
If some people do not show up for the tournament, I will try to fill the spots with other players from other servers. Any team without at least 3 members will be disqualified.
The passwords for each server will be given out in the Tournament Green Room Server where we will all meet.

July 14, 2009 by bambiTournament News: 7-14-09 The Tournament is this Friday, July 17th at 19:00 GMT. If some members cannot make it, each team will carry on without them. There will be a Tournament waiting server where we will all meet. And then the rounds will begin. Have fun!

Pein, I just balanced the teams. The only team that may be somewhat more strong, is SilentScope + Fear. However, each team has at least 1 very strong player. Hopefully everyone can be satisfied with the current team configuration so we can move on to setting a schedule.

Oh I forgot about GPF's and score clearing. Do you know of a mod that will keep scores? If not, I will try to spectate each match and keep score.
Does anyone know how to spectate a match? Maybe god mode and ghost?

Many people have expressed their dislike of playing on a team. So after this tournament, I'm thinking of sponsoring an individual tournament deathmatch with matches of 4 people until the best is decided.
